[02:12:44] <k-mack> Hi. I cloned vertx-web and am trying to get it build. Having trouble understanding why some tests in TemplateTest are failing

[02:13:07] <k-mack> e.g., testRelativeToRoutePath

[02:21:13] <k-mack> Starting test: TemplateTest#testTemplateHandler2 java.lang.AssertionError: expected:«html> <body> <h1>Test template</h1> foo is badger bar is fox<br> </body> </html» but was:«html> <body> <h1>Test template</h1> foo is badger bar is fox<br> </body> </html»

[02:21:47] <k-mack> Not sure why this test failed in vertx-web project

[02:24:03] <AlexLehm> k-mack: maybe a line-ending proble, are you on windows or linux?

[02:24:46] <k-mack> I was just thinking that actually… must be it since I did a clean clone

[02:25:03] <k-mack> On Windows, btw

[02:26:08] <AlexLehm> odds are some tests will fail due to missing conversion of line endings if you run the build in Windows

[02:27:23] <AlexLehm> it might work to check out the git without converting the line endings

[02:27:41] <AlexLehm> haven't tried vertx-web yet, but i had similar problems with the vertx-core project

[02:29:53] <k-mack> Yeah. Good idea. I'll just switch over to my Linux VM to hopefully avoid these kinds of things

[02:30:41] <AlexLehm> that should probably work

[20:46:23] <asynco> hey guys, let me bother you a little bit

[20:47:55] <asynco> I'm doing a project using vert.x3 and mongodb ( java ). I'm using the mongodb async driver on my project. I was wondering how the mongo driver will attach to the event queue the events properly

[20:48:24] <asynco> should I use a wrapper or something else ?

[20:59:06] <asynco> I feel that using the mongoDB async driver, I'm doing the work outside the vertx eventloop. is any way to add that to the vertx eventloop ?

Am I wrong about that ?
